Chris Bladen Bronze Sculptures

Chris Bladen is a South African artist who expresses his passion for fresh and saltwater fish species in bronze . At the age of seven he was inspired by a trout, caught on a fly which he tied himself, and ever since, he has chased fish all over the world with fly rod, camera and diving mask.
Now based in Cape Town, he creates bronze sculptures with a uniqueness of their own. He captures motion and emotion, and the species specific characteristic appearance in each of his pieces. His deep knowledge and compassion is ultimately evident in his choice and application of patina
