Fishing season -April to January
Likely Shore Locations - Deeper water with sandy bottoms . Estuaries, Tidal Races,
Geographic area -Mackerel are distributed around most of the UK coastline .
Methods - Mackerel love to chase small bait fish , Around dusk they may come into the shallows and chase fry so use a floating or intermediate line , in the day time they may lie a little deeper so try sinking fly lines, Mackerel are turned on by speed so get the fly down and then retrieve fast.

DNA clousers . Sparse DNA clousers . DNA Bonbons . White and Olive. All White they love them all!!
